Ankita Electronics

We are located on Hari Shankar Joshi Road in Dahisar. Ankita Electronics is the name on the board above the door. We deal with different kinds of electronic items, mostly small things that people need for their homes. Dahisar is a growing place, and we see new people moving into the buildings all the time. Our shop isn't very large, but we try to keep the essentials in stock. If we don't have something, we usually tell people where they might find it or try to order it for them if they can wait. It’s just how we do things around here. We’ve been here long enough that we know which brands people prefer and what usually breaks after a few months. Repairing small appliances is also part of what we do in the afternoons. The floor is usually covered with wires or some half-fixed radio or fan. It looks a bit disorganized to an outsider, but I know exactly where every tool is. My wife handles the accounts in the evenings and I look after the customers during the day. We don't have any staff to help us out. It's a family-run thing. We value the trust our neighbors have in us. We aren't trying to compete with the big malls or online stores. We just provide what we can, right here on the street. It’s a simple life. We open the shutters around ten and stay until the street lights come on.
