My Soft Pay

Our office is at 108 in Andheri. It is a standard building and we have been in this room for some time now. Dealing with payments and software stuff is what fills up our day. It is mostly just us sitting in front of screens, making sure everything is running like it should. Andheri is a crowded place, so there is always noise from the street coming up to the window. We have a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of cables running along the floor. It is a practical space for the kind of work we do. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it doesn't really help with the coding or the transaction processing. Most of the time, we are just talking to people over the phone or replying to messages about their accounts. It gets pretty busy around mid-month when everyone is trying to get their stuff sorted. We take our breaks at the small tea stall downstairs because the tea there is decent and it gives us a chance to stretch our legs. There is no big mystery to what we do; we just keep the software side of things moving so people can get paid. It is a regular job in a regular part of the city. We have our routines and we stick to them to make sure nothing gets missed in the system.
