Sunrise Overseas

Sunrise Overseas is located at No. 306 in Laxmi Plaza, which sits inside the Laxmi Industrial Estate. This is part of the Lokhandwala Complex area on the New Link Road in Andheri West. It’s a very busy industrial zone, so there are always trucks moving and people rushing around. Our space in unit 306 is where all the planning for our overseas work happens. It’s a typical office for this area—plenty of files, a few computers, and the sound of the city coming through the windows. We spend our hours tracking shipments across the ocean and making sure all the legal bits are handled. It’s a lot of work that people don't really see. We don’t use any big words to describe ourselves. We are just a bunch of people who know how to get things from one country to another. The industrial estate has a rough-and-ready feel to it, which suits us just fine. We aren't here to look pretty; we are here to work. Sometimes the New Link Road traffic makes us crazy, but we’ve learned to work around it. Most of the time, we are just focused on the next deadline or the next container. It’s a steady rhythm of checking, double-checking, and sending out emails. We’ve been at Laxmi Plaza for a while now and it feels like home to us.
