Icespice Export

Icespice Export operates out of two different spots. Our main office is R32 in the Laxmi Industrial Estate, which is on the Andheri-Malad Link Road. It is a very busy area with lots of trucks and workers moving around. We also have another place down on Parumel Kovil Street in Thakkalai. Managing both can be a bit of a headache, but we make it work. The office in Mumbai is where we handle all the export details and the shipping paperwork. It is an industrial unit, so it has that rough feel with concrete floors and high ceilings. We deal with spices and other goods that need to be sent abroad. The Link Road is always jammed, so getting here in the morning takes forever. Inside the office, things are usually a bit disorganized. We have piles of papers and bags of samples everywhere. There isn't a big team, just a handful of us who know the ropes. We don't really have a set routine. We just deal with whatever problem comes up first. Sometimes we have to spend all day on the phone with the shipping agents. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. We don't bother with fancy brochures or anything like that. We just focus on getting the quality right and making sure the crates are packed properly. It is hard work, but we are used to the pace of the industrial estate by now.
