Countrywide Exports

Our office is located on Sahar Road in Andheri East, which is pretty convenient if you know how much we deal with the airport side of things. Countrywide Exports isn't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. It’s just us in a decent-sized space trying to keep up with the demands of international shipping. The traffic on Sahar Road can be a nightmare in the afternoons, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our time talking to suppliers and making sure the boxes are packed correctly. There are always a few different things happening at once, like a driver calling for directions or a customs query that needs an immediate answer. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything fancy. We just know that if a client asks us to move something, we need to find the best way to do it. It involves a lot of patience and a lot of tea to stay focused. Our desks are usually a mess of sticky notes and old invoices. We like being in Andheri because it feels like the heart of the business world here. Most of our days are spent staring at screens or talking on mobile phones. It’s a busy life, and we don't have much time for polish. We just focus on the next shipment and hope the rain doesn't slow things down too much for our drivers.
