Our office is in the Apollo Complex, which is situated on R. K. Singh Marg in Andheri East. It is tucked away near Mogra Pada and just across from the Divya Darpan building. If you are coming from Parsi Panchayat Road, it takes a couple of turns to find us. Andheri is always a bit of a maze with all the traffic and new construction going on. We are in unit 106/9. It is a functional space where we handle all our daily export operations. The office is usually a bit noisy with the sound of the printers going and the staff talking to various vendors. We deal with a lot of different products, so there are always samples sitting on the shelves. It is not a showroom, just a place where we get the business done. We do not have a big corporate hierarchy here. Everyone just pitches in where they can. If the phone rings and the receptionist is busy, someone else just picks it up. We spend a lot of time checking on shipping schedules and making sure the containers are loaded correctly. It is a lot of detail-oriented work. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first moved in, but the Apollo Complex stays pretty much the same. We have a few favorite lunch spots nearby where we go when we need to get away from the computer screens for a bit. We just focus on getting shipments out. (257 words)
