Amrita Exports is located in the Ansa Industrial Estate, specifically at J 211. Being in Sakinaka means we deal with the usual Andheri traffic every single day, which is always a topic of conversation when someone walks in late. The industrial estate has that specific smell of grease and old concrete, and there’s always a truck backing up somewhere nearby. Our unit isn't very big, so we have to be organized, or we’d never find anything. We spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets and talking to freight forwarders. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. The desks are a bit cluttered with samples and shipping documents. Sometimes we have to move stuff around just to make room for a meeting. We’ve got a small pantry area where we keep the kettle, and that’s probably the most popular spot in the office. We don't really have a marketing team or anyone to make us look bigger than we are. It’s just us working through the orders and making sure the labels are right. Sakinaka is a loud, bustling place, and we’re just one small part of it. We see the same faces every day at the local tea stall outside the gate. It’s simple work in a busy environment. We don't try to overcomplicate things; we just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a living, and we’ve been doing it like this for a long time.
