We have been set up here at Ameya House in Andheri West for a while now. The office is on the first floor in the B-wing, right at Rajkumar Corner. It’s a busy spot on JP Road, and you can usually hear the traffic from the window if it's open. Most days we are just working through different robotics projects or looking at circuit boards. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting things that don't want to work the first time. Getting parts delivered here is easy because everyone knows the landmark. It gets pretty humid in the afternoons, so the fan is always running. People drop by sometimes just to ask what robotics even means in a practical sense. We just show them what’s on the bench. There’s always a bit of solder smell in the air and stacks of components waiting to be sorted. Being in Andheri makes it easy for us to find whatever small parts we run out of since there are so many shops around. It’s a bit of a maze in the building if you haven't been here before, but once you find the B-wing, it's straightforward. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the street outside. It's just a normal workplace where we try to get things done without too much fuss. Sometimes the power flickers, but we just keep going. It’s home for us.
