Alot Hitek

If you walk down V.V. Chandan Street in Masjid Bunder West, you’ll find us at 10, Laxmidas Bhuvan. Alot Hitek is right in the thick of it. This area is famous for being incredibly crowded and noisy, and our building is no different. It’s an old structure with high ceilings and narrow hallways. We occupy the space at 88/92, and it’s usually packed with inventory. Dealing with high-tech items in such an old, traditional market area is an interesting mix. Every morning, we have to navigate the handcarts and the crowds just to get to the door. Once we are inside, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the honking and shouting from the street. We spend most of our time sorting through stock and updating our records. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and making sure everything is where it should be. The office is a bit cluttered, and we probably have too many old files sitting on the top shelves. We don't have a formal dress code or anything; we just wear what’s comfortable for moving around. Sometimes the power flickers, but we just keep going. It’s a bit of a maze in here, but we know exactly where every item is kept. It’s just the way things are in Masjid Bunder, and we’ve been here long enough to not mind the chaos. The tea stall downstairs is our main meeting spot.
