Akshit Tutorials is tucked away in the Aanand Magal Co-Operative Housing Society. We are at G-17A, 167 Nanu Bhai Desai Road. This is the Charni Road area of Mumbai, which is always moving and shaking. We are near the Tika Nagar Gokuldam Hotel. It is a residential building, so it doesn't feel like a cold office at all. It feels more like a home. We have been here for a while and the neighbors know us well. Usually, the kids from the nearby buildings are the ones who come here for help with their studies. We set up the rooms with simple benches and tables. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when everyone shows up at once, but we manage. We don't go in for any big marketing schemes or polished brochures. People just know we are here. We spend a lot of time sitting with students and going over their math and science problems. It is a regular day-to-day life for us. Charni Road is a busy place, but once you get inside the society, it is a little quieter. We try to keep things practical. If a student doesn't get something, we just explain it again. There is no magic to it. Just hard work and a lot of patience. We have seen many kids grow up and move on from here. It is just a small, local tutorial place trying to do right by the families.
