Agrotech Project Engineers

Down here in Bhandup West, the industrial estate can get pretty loud during the day. Agrotech Project Engineers is located over at A-213 in the New Bharat Industrial E building. It’s one of those places where you have to know where you’re going or you might get turned around in Chandra Nagar. We’ve got blueprints all over the tables and sometimes on the floor too because there’s never enough space. We work on engineering stuff for farms and factories. It involves a lot of measuring and checking parts. The air in the estate smells like metal and oil most mornings. We usually start early before the sun gets too hot. Usually, it's just the sound of someone using a drill or the fan humming in the corner. We aren't big on meetings or anything fancy. If a project needs fixing, we just grab the tools and go at it. People come by asking if we can look at their machinery or help them plan out a new shed or a cooling system. It’s not glamorous work, and our boots usually have some dirt on them by lunch. We get our lunch from the little stall down the road. It’s a busy life here in Mumbai, and we just keep our heads down and do the engineering work that needs doing. We stay until the job is right for the customer.
