Aditi Consulting Engineers

Aditi Consulting Engineers is over here in Vikhroli West, right on Vikasa School Road at D 1. It’s a small office, mostly filled with drawings and old files stacked in the corners. We do engineering work, which basically means we spend our days checking plans and making sure things are built the right way. It’s a lot of math and looking at blueprints until our eyes get tired. The road outside can get pretty noisy when school lets out, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. There’s a leaky tap in the back room that we keep meaning to fix, but we usually forget once a new project comes in. We handle things like structural checks and technical advice. It isn't very glamorous. Most of the time, we’re wearing dusty shoes because we’ve been out at a site somewhere. We try to be practical about everything. If a design doesn't work, we say so. We don't use big fancy words to explain things; we just tell people what needs to happen to get the job done safely. Sometimes we work late when there's a deadline, and we usually just order some food from the place down the street. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here, and it suits us just fine. We know most of the people on the block and they know us as the engineers with the messy desks.
