Acme Electronics

Acme Electronics is located up on the second floor of Ahmed Chamber. If you know Lamingyon Road, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people looking for parts. We are at 386, in room 2-Cf. It is not a huge space, but it is packed with whatever we are working on at the moment. Dealing with electronics in this part of Mumbai means you have to be okay with a bit of chaos. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit steep when you are carrying boxes. We spend most of our time at the benches, soldering or testing components. It is dusty because of the street outside, but we try to keep the sensitive stuff covered. Most people who come by are looking for something specific they can’t find elsewhere on the main road. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, the lights are humming and there is a smell of solder in the air. Lamingyon Road is a strange place, always moving, and we have been part of that rhythm for quite some time now. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just trying to keep the shelves stocked and the orders moving out the door. It gets hot in the afternoons, but the fans keep things bearable while we sort through resistors and boards. It is just a regular electronics spot in a busy building.
