A S Engineers

We've been here at 408 in Gulab Estate for quite some time now. It’s tucked away in the 4th Lane on Agra Road. If you know the Kurla Bus Depot, we are right behind that. Most days start early for us. Someone opens the shutters, gets the machines ready. It's an industrial spot, so there’s always noise around. A S Engineers is basically a small team of us working through the day. We deal with engineering stuff, mostly parts and repairs that come in. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we need. Sometimes the lane gets crowded with trucks, which makes getting deliveries in a bit of a headache. You just get used to it after a while. We aren't fancy people. We wear our work clothes and don't worry too much about the grease. It’s just how it is in this part of Kurla. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings or fixing things that aren't running right. Usually, there's a tea break in the afternoon when someone runs out to get a few cups. The estate has its own rhythm. We know the neighbors, and they know us. It’s a busy place with a lot going on. Not much to look at from the outside, just a regular workshop. We focus on the job at hand and try to get things out the door so the next person can get their work done too. That's pretty much our life here.
