I run A C E Tutorials over at 101 in the Kalina area of Dadar East. It’s a straightforward kind of place where students come for their extra lessons after school is over for the day. I’ve been in this building for several years, and most of the people around here know who I am. The rooms are a bit tight when a full group shows up, but we make it work with some extra chairs. I don't spend much on decorations or fancy furniture because the focus is on the books anyway. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but nobody seems to mind once we get started. I handle the teaching and my sister helps with the scheduling and the fees. It’s a family-run thing, really. We get kids from the local schools who are struggling with their math or science. I try to be patient, though sometimes I have to tell them to put their phones away and pay attention. The Kalina neighborhood is pretty active, so there’s always something happening outside the window. We don't have any big signs or posters. Most of our students come to us because their older siblings came here before. It's just about putting in the hours and making sure everyone understands the topic before they head home for dinner. That's our daily routine here, keeping things simple and moving through the syllabus.
