1 Rupee Clinic

Our clinic is right there by the pedestrian overpass in Saibaba Nagar, Ghatkopar East. It is a busy spot because of all the people walking to and from the station. We deal with basic health checks and common illnesses that people have every day. The space isn't very large, but we have what we need to see patients. You can find us in the Pant Nagar area quite easily once you are on the overpass. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic and the crowds outside, but we are used to it by now. There is a desk where we take down names and a small area for waiting. We keep things simple here. Sometimes there is a line, especially in the mornings when folks are heading to work. We try to see everyone as fast as we can without rushing the actual checkup. It’s mostly just us helping the locals with their fevers or coughs. We have been at this location for a while. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a clean enough place to work. We don't have any fancy machines, just the regular stuff you find in a neighborhood clinic. People know they can just drop in. It feels like a real part of the community here in Ghatkopar. We just keep our heads down and do the daily work of seeing whoever needs help.
