The most recognizable landmark near us is the Nilkanth Mandir, so we often hear the temple bells or the music during festivals. It’s a busy residential and commercial mix around here, so there is never a dull moment. The office is a bit of a tight squeeze, especially on days when the whole team is in, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. The building itself is an older cooperative housing society, which means we know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a marble lobby or a security guard at a front desk; you just come up and knock. We spend our days staring at screens and taking the occasional break to go down for some chai at the corner stall. The commute can be a bit of a grind if you’re coming from further away, but being in Kandivali has its perks with plenty of places to eat nearby. It’s a very down-to-earth place to work. We don’t have big meetings about goals or visions; we just focus on the projects in front of us and try to get through the day's list.
