Our place is on the second floor of the Mahavir Jyot building in Govardhan Nagar. If you know L B S Marg in Mulund West, we are right there at number 11. It is a busy part of Mumbai and there is always something going on outside our windows. Walnutz is just a small group of us working on various IT solutions. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves in our own neighborhood. The office is not huge by any means, but it fits what we need for now. We spend most of our time on our laptops, solving whatever technical problems come our way. Sometimes the chai guy comes by in the afternoon and that is usually the highlight of the day. We do not have a big human resources department or any fancy brochures to hand out. It is just us. L B S Marg can get pretty loud with all the horns and the traffic, but you get used to it after working here for a week. We try to keep our heads down and just focus on the projects currently on the table. Living and working in Mulund West is convenient because most of the staff lives nearby. It saves us from those long Mumbai commutes on the train. We are not trying to be the next big global firm, we just want to do decent work. It is a very simple setup at Mahavir Jyot. (257 words)
