Fidelity Software Technologies Llp is located in the Satyam Shopping Centre in Ghatkopar East. You have to go down to the basement to find us at units A/13, A/14, and A/15. It’s a bit of a basement life, but we don't mind it. It stays fairly cool down here even when the sun is beating down on Mumbai outside. Being near the Vidyavihar area is handy because it’s a short walk from the station for those of us who take the train. The office is spread across three different units, so we’ve had to knock a few doors through and set up partitions to make it work. It’s full of old computers, tangled cables, and desks piled with notes. We do a lot of software work, mostly just building stuff that works for our clients. There is no fancy reception desk or anyone to greet you; you just walk in and see everyone busy at their screens. We have a small area where we keep the microwave and the water filter. Lunch is usually a social thing where we talk about everything except work. The building itself is quite old, so sometimes the plumbing acts up or the lights flicker, but we just get on with it. We’ve been here a long time and the shopkeepers upstairs all know us. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place to work. We just do our jobs and try to be honest about what we can get done.
