About Simigo International School – Education in Muktsar
If you’re heading down Sitto Road in Abohar, you’ll come across Simigo International School. It’s been sitting there for a while now, right where the town starts to thin out a bit. It’s not a very complicated setup. We have the main gates, a yard where the kids play, and the blocks where the classes happen. Every morning is the same routine with the buses arriving and the kids jumping out before they’ve even stopped properly. It gets a bit chaotic, but we manage. Abohar is a quiet place mostly, so the school adds some much-needed noise to the neighborhood. The rooms are plain, decorated with whatever the students painted last week, and the chalk dust tends to get everywhere. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us teachers and the admin staff trying to keep the schedule running. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to open all the windows, or the bell rings a few minutes late because someone lost track of time. It’s a real place with real people working in it. We deal with lost sweaters and forgotten lunchboxes every single day. People around here know us by name, and we know most of the parents too. It feels like a small community on Sitto Road. We just do our work and go home when the sun starts to set, ready to do it again tomorrow.
