About Little Bells Convent School – Education in Muktsar
Little Bells Convent School sits right behind the PWD office in Abohar, near the big railway bridge on the Abohar-Malout Road. It is a bit tucked away, which is actually nice because it keeps the worst of the road noise away from the classrooms. We have been here for a good number of years. The building is older and has that lived-in feel, but it serves its purpose just fine. We do not have a big corporate office or a marketing team. Usually, it is just us and the teachers handling everything from the lessons to the paperwork. The playground is a decent size for the kids to get some fresh air. During the rainy season, the path near the railway bridge can get a bit muddy, so we all have to be careful coming in. Most of the students come from the surrounding colonies and their parents often stop by for a quick chat at the gate. We keep things straightforward here. There are no big promises of transforming the world, just a focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids know their math and languages. We use simple desks and have enough books to go around. It is a quiet, local spot where we just get on with the work of running a school. It feels more like a community than a business, which is how we like to keep it for the families here.
