Kathela Marble

We are down here on Abohar Road, just a bit past St. Sarid School. It is a busy spot with all the trucks and people moving around. Most days start early for us because there is always a lot of heavy lifting to do when the new marble shipments come in. We have been here for a while now. The yard gets pretty dusty, especially in the summer months, but that is just part of the job when you deal with stone every day. People usually find us easily because the school is a good landmark. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just the slabs and us working. Sometimes customers come in with specific ideas for their kitchens or floors, and we just show them what we have in stock at the moment. It is hard work, moving these big pieces around without scratching them. We try to keep things organized, but it can get a bit messy when we are busy. We aren't big on talking ourselves up. If you need marble, you just come by and see what is available. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually get the heavy sorting done before it gets too hot. It is a simple setup here. We just focus on getting the stone out to people who need it for their houses around the area. We don't mind if you just want to look around and see the different colors of the stone we have piled up.
