St. Francis Academy

St. Francis Academy is located in the town of Motihari. It’s been a part of this community for some time now. The building is fairly old-fashioned but it serves us well. We have a lot of students coming in every morning from all over the 845401 area. Most of the time, the school is full of the sounds of kids talking and teachers giving their lessons. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. We have a playground where the students spend their breaks, and it can get quite dusty during the dry season. The staff here are locals who understand how things work in this part of Bihar. We don't use a lot of fancy technology; it's mostly books, chalk, and talk. Life in Motihari has its own pace, and we just follow along with that. We have our busy days when exams are on, and quieter days when everyone is just settling into their routine. Parents often come by to talk about their children’s progress, and we sit down with them in the small office area. There’s nothing too special about the decor—just some posters on the walls and rows of desks. We just aim to provide a place where the kids can come and learn without too much fuss. When the rainy season hits, the yard gets a bit muddy, but we just deal with it like everyone else in town.
