Our place is located in Word No 20, right at Arya Samaj Chowk. It gets really busy around here with the airport nearby. You can hear the planes taking off all the time while we're working. Shantiniketan Jubilee School is just a short walk away, so we see parents and teachers passing by all morning. The shop is usually full of stock, so there isn't much room to move around inside. We try to keep things where we can find them. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. Being so close to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport means the traffic never really stops. My uncle started this trade years ago and we just kept it going. We don’t do anything flashy. It's mostly just handling orders and making sure things get where they need to go. The floor is old concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat about the local news. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the heavy lifting and checking the papers. It gets pretty humid in this part of town, especially in the rainy season. We just keep the doors open for the breeze. It's a plain spot, but it’s been our home for a long time now.
