We’ve been here in East Champaran for a while now. If you're looking for us, we are tucked right behind the Honda showroom. Most people find us that way because the showroom is easy to spot from the main path. It’s usually busy around here with the bikes coming in and out. Being near Baktar Denanath helps too as it's a known spot for locals. Our day starts pretty early. We get the heavy shutters up and start moving bags around manually. It's dusty work but someone has to do it. The trucks come in with the loads and we spend a good chunk of time just checking the inventory lists. It gets really hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, so we usually take a bit of a break when the sun is directly overhead. People stop by to ask about prices or just to see what we have in stock today. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It's just a functional space where we handle the cement orders. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it hard for the bigger lorries to turn in, but we manage. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The guys working here have been around the block a few times. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the counts are right before the day ends. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do.
