Jb College Campus

Jb College Campus is out in Bhupatpur near the Joura area in Morena. It is a bit of a drive from the main city so things stay pretty quiet out here most of the time. The air is a little dustier because of the unpaved roads nearby but it is peaceful enough for studying. We have a very basic setup here in Madhya Pradesh with a main building where all the classes happen. We do not have any air conditioning or fancy labs just the standard rooms with blackboards and wooden benches for the kids. Students come in from the surrounding villages often walking a long way or taking the local buses that pass by the gates. It is a very practical place to work. We do not have a big staff so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything from fixing a leaky tap to helping with the new admissions. The ground outside gets a bit muddy when it rains so we all have to watch our step during the monsoon season. We have been here for a while and the people in the village know us well by now. It is a place for kids who would not otherwise have a chance to go to college without traveling hours away to the city. We just try to keep the doors open and the classes running on time every single day. There is not much to brag about but it serves its purpose for the community.
