Computer Clinic

We've been over here at Shop No. 6-7 in the Panchayat Complex for quite a while now. Being right opposite the District Hospital in Nai Avadi means we see a lot of people coming and going all day. It’s a pretty busy spot in Bhind. We spend most of our time looking at screens and trying to figure out why things aren't turning on or why they're making weird grinding noises. People drop off their laptops on their way to other errands, and we just get to work on them. The shop definitely isn't fancy. There are cables everywhere and maybe some dust on the higher shelves because we focus more on the machines than the decor. Sometimes the power goes out or it gets really hot in the afternoons, but we just stay busy. Usually, it's just us fixing hardware or cleaning out fans that haven't been touched in years. We know the neighbors pretty well. It's just a regular local shop where we handle whatever computer problems happen to come through the door. If you walk past the hospital, you’ll see our sign. It isn't a big operation, just a couple of rooms with tools and spare parts scattered around the benches. We try to get things done as they come in. Most days are pretty much the same, just opening up, checking the intake list, and getting the screwdrivers out. That's how it goes here in Bhind. We’re just part of the local landscape now, doing our thing.
