Royal Rajputana Fashion & Invitation

Our shop is located right at Rajkamal Chowk, basically right next to Jatabhi Talsibhai. If you know where Chhata Bhai’s shop is on Shakti Road, then we are just a few steps away from there. We do a bit of a mix here. Mostly it is traditional Rajputana fashion and making wedding invitations. It is a small space, so it tends to get crowded fast when a whole family comes in to look at different designs. We have catalogs piled up on the main counter and various samples hanging on the walls. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is kept. My brother and I run the place ourselves. We spend a lot of our time picking out new card designs to show people. Some customers want the really heavy, traditional invitations while others are just looking for something plain. The fashion side of things stays busy too. We keep a lot of local styles that people around here prefer for their ceremonies. It is not like one of those big mall stores. We talk to everyone who walks through the door. Sometimes we spend an hour just drinking tea and discussing a single outfit or a card layout with a customer. That is just how business goes on Shakti Road. It is noisy outside with all the rickshaws and people moving around, but inside we just focus on the orders we have. We just open up and wait for the day to begin.
