Raj Trading & Co.

Raj Trading & Co. is located on Sanala Road, right across from that big Hero Honda showroom. If you’re driving down this way, you’ve probably seen the sign hanging out front. We’ve been at No. 3 for a while. The road gets really busy with traffic and motorcycles zooming past all day long. It's pretty loud most of the time. We spend most of our hours dealing with stacks of paperwork and making sure the inventory matches what we have in the back area. It's a trading business, so it’s mostly about moving stuff from one place to another. There’s always some truck driver waiting outside or someone calling to ask about a shipment that hasn't arrived yet. It’s not exactly glamorous work. The office is a bit small and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise that we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s not too hot just to get a break from the phones and the dust. The area has changed a lot since we first set up here. More buildings and more noise every single year. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things get delayed, which is frustrating for everyone involved. But that’s just how the trading world goes. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, there are invoices scattered everywhere. We just pick them up later and start again the next morning.
