Darshan Traders

You can find us at unit 36 in the Ceramic Plaza. It’s right there on National Highway 8A, which stays busy pretty much all day and night. We are situated quite close to the Shiv Ajanta Hotel, so that’s a good landmark if you’re trying to find the place for the first time. The plaza has a lot of similar businesses, but we’ve carved out our own little corner here. Running Darshan Traders keeps us on our toes. There is always a truck being loaded or unloaded nearby, and the sound of the highway is just part of our daily background noise now. Inside the shop, we keep a variety of items, mostly related to what you'd expect in a ceramic hub. It's not a huge space, but we make the most of it. We have some samples out for people to look at, and the rest is stored away. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we’re always wiping down the counters. We aren't big on fancy decorations or anything like that. We prefer to just focus on the trade and making sure people get what they came for. Most days involve a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. The hotel next door brings in a lot of travelers, and sometimes they wander over to see what we're doing. We explain that we're mostly dealing with wholesale, but we talk to everyone anyway. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the evenings, so we usually pull down the shutter a bit to block the glare.
