Mahashakti Minerals & Chemical Industries

Out on Jadeshwar Road in Wankaner, you will find Mahashakti Minerals & Chemical Industries. We are in the Rati Devli area, which is a bit out of the way for some, but it suits us just fine. The air around here always has a bit of that mineral smell to it. We deal with raw materials and chemicals, so there is always some crushing or mixing going on. The yard is usually quite busy with tractors or trucks coming to pick up loads. We have a small office where we keep the ledgers and the telephone, but most of the action happens in the sheds. It’s a local business through and through. Most of the people working here are from the surrounding villages. We don’t have a lot of formal procedures like the big companies in the cities. We just know what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around for things to start up again, which gives us time to catch up on local news. The road can get a bit muddy during the monsoon, which makes things a bit slower. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to provide what our customers ask for and keep things running smoothly. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and we prefer it that way. No fancy talk, just minerals and chemicals.
