Om Minerals Chemicals

We are located right off the 8-A National Highway. It is a prime spot for logistics, but it also means we deal with a lot of dust and noise from the heavy trucks passing by twenty-four hours a day. Working with minerals and chemicals at this location is very practical because we can get things loaded and onto the road very quickly. Our facility at Om Minerals Chemicals is mostly warehouse space filled with big bags of different grades of materials. It is a bit of a rugged environment, and we usually end up with dust on our boots by the end of every shift. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main storage area where we keep the logs and the phone. We do not have any fancy landscaping or a paved driveway, just a lot of open space for big vehicles to turn around. The heat on the highway can be quite brutal in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy loading done early in the morning before it gets too bad. We spend a lot of time checking the consistency of the minerals we receive. It is not a glamorous job, but it is necessary for the different industries we supply. We keep things moving, stay on top of the inventory, and make sure the drivers have what they need before they head back out. It is a simple, repetitive cycle.
