Being in a village means things are a bit quieter than the main city center, but we still stay busy enough. The road leading out here is okay, though it can be a bit dusty during the dry months. We have our workspace set up to handle the day-to-day requirements of the clothing business. It is a simple building, nothing too modern, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of space around the survey plot, which is nice compared to the cramped offices in the middle of town. Most of the people working here are local, so we all know each other pretty well. It’s a very informal environment. We don't have big meetings or corporate structures; we just talk over what needs to be finished and get to it. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s just the way things go in this part of Gujarat. We keep things moving and try to stay on top of the work. It’s a regular job for us and we just take it one day at a time. This location in Bagathala has been our home base for quite a bit.
