We are Gp Agri Brokers Llp and you can find us at the Marketing Yard on Morbi Road. Our spot is Godown Ga 36. It’s a real working environment here, with trucks coming in and out at all hours of the day and night. We spend our days right in the middle of all that activity. Being at the Marketing Yard means we see every kind of produce that comes through this area. We act as brokers, so our job is to connect the people selling the grain with the people who need to buy it. It’s a lot of haggling over prices and checking the quality of the bags by hand. The godown is usually a bit dusty and the floor is always covered in bits of hay or grain, but that’s just part of the daily job. We don’t wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices. Usually, we are out on the concrete floor or standing by the big scales. It gets very busy during the peak harvest seasons, and sometimes we don’t even have time to sit down for lunch. We’ve been working out of this yard for a while now, so we know most of the drivers and the other traders around here by name. It is a straightforward business where your word and your reputation matter more than anything else. We just try to get the deals done and keep the goods moving.
