Atop Food Products

Atop Food Products is situated right on the Morbi-Rajkot Highway. Our main place is in Village-Lajai, which is part of the Tankara Taluka. Being out here on the highway means we see a lot of trucks passing by all day long. We have our own P.O. Box, number 007, which sounds a bit funny but it’s just how the mail gets to us. The factory and office are right there near the road. It gets pretty dusty out here, especially in the dry months, but the air is different than in the city. We focus on making food products that people actually want to eat. The work involves a lot of watching the machines and making sure the ingredients are being mixed right. We have a lot of local workers from the village who walk or bike here every morning. It’s a noisy place when the production lines are running, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team; we just focus on the bags and boxes leaving the warehouse. Sometimes we sit outside during the lunch break and watch the cars go by on the highway. It’s a simple setup, really. We just make sure the quality is okay and that the trucks get loaded on time so the food gets to the stores.
