Shan Sons Exports

Our business, Shan Sons Exports, is tucked away on Ekta Gali in the Nawabpura area. It’s a bit of a hidden spot if you don’t know the neighborhood well. The street is narrow and always has something going on, whether it's kids playing or neighbors moving goods. Most of our work happens in the back room where we spend hours packing up items and getting them ready for transport. The space is filled with the smell of cardboard boxes and packing tape. It’s not a fancy office at all; it’s more like a workshop where we just focus on the task at hand. We have a few old wooden tables where we do all the sorting and labeling. The concrete floor stays relatively cool, which is nice when the weather gets humid outside. We often have to carry heavy boxes out to the main road because the delivery vans can't always make it down the narrow gali. It’s a lot of physical work and we are usually covered in dust by the end of the day. We don’t really have any customers coming in to browse, so we don't worry much about how the front looks. It’s a family kind of place where everyone knows what needs to be done without being told. We just keep our heads down and try to stay on schedule. It is a simple, honest way to work.
