Annant Exports

Annant Exports is based out of Kishanlal House on Bazigaran Road. It’s a sturdy old building and we’ve been here for a good bit of time. Working in export is a lot of paperwork and making sure the boxes are packed right. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking the stuff coming in and out. Bazigaran Road is always moving, so there is a lot of noise outside our windows. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us handling the day-to-day things. Sometimes things get delayed at the docks or with the trucks, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to stay on top of the orders. The warehouse space gets pretty dusty with all the movement, but that’s just part of the job. We know most of the other folks working on this street. It’s a community of small businesses all trying to get through the week. We don’t do anything too fancy, just basic export work. If you come by Kishanlal House, you’ll probably see us moving crates or checking lists. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it by now. We usually eat lunch together at the small shop around the corner and then get back to packing up the shipping containers for the next truck.
