Jafri Sons

Jafri Sons is tucked away in Lane No. 1 over in Rehmat Nagar. It’s a tight little street and if you aren't looking closely, you might drive right past us. We’ve been in this same spot for years, and the neighbors all know us by name. It’s a family-run thing, so there’s usually at least one of the sons around to talk to. The shop itself is quite small and filled to the ceiling with all sorts of things. We don't have a big staff or a human resources department or anything like that. If there's a problem, we just fix it ourselves. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the front door squeaks every time it opens, but it feels like home to us. We spend most of our day dealing with local suppliers and people who wander in from the lane. It’s not a high-traffic area, so we have time to actually talk to whoever stops by. Sometimes we just sit outside on plastic chairs when the weather is nice. We aren't trying to become a global brand or anything. We just want to keep the business going so we can support the family. There’s always a bit of a mess on the main desk because of all the receipts and notes we keep. It might look disorganized to a stranger, but we know where everything is. It’s just how we operate.
