Dev Yen Co. is located in the Kanchanshala Building on Bazigaran Street. If you have ever been to the Pan Dariba area, you know how tight the streets can be. Our office is in an older building, so it has high ceilings and those thick walls that keep it a bit cooler in the summer. We have been here for a few years now. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of other small businesses around us. We mostly deal with trading and local commerce. The desk is usually covered in papers and coffee mugs. We do not have a fancy lobby or anyone sitting at a front desk to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us at a desk or on the phone. We know most of the people on Bazigaran Street by name. We see them every morning when we are opening up the metal shutters. The stairs in Kanchanshala Building are a bit creaky, and the elevator does not always work, so we get our exercise. We are not doing anything flashy here. We just try to keep our accounts straight and our customers satisfied. Sometimes we make mistakes, like forgetting to file a receipt or missing a call, but we always try to fix it quickly. It is just a normal business run by people who care about their work. We do not have a big marketing budget, so we rely on doing a decent job so people come back. (257 words)
