Our place is in Muradabad, specifically at Rajkumar’s spot. We are a producer company, which basically means we are a bunch of farmers trying to work as a team. It’s not always easy to get everyone on the same page, but we try our best. We deal with everything from getting the right seeds to finding someone to buy the crops at the end of the season. We don’t have a big corporate office with computers everywhere. It’s mostly just us sitting around with some notebooks and a phone. We spend a lot of time on the phone, actually, trying to find out what the rates are in different places. It’s practical stuff. We don't have a fancy logo or any marketing. We just do the work. The village is small, so everyone knows where Rajkumar lives. If you need to find us, just ask anyone in Muradabad. We’re usually there during the day, unless it’s peak season and we are all out in the fields. We started this because we were tired of doing everything alone. Now, we share the load. It’s not a perfect system, and we make mistakes sometimes, but it’s better than it was before. We just take it one day at a time and see what needs doing next. It’s mostly about making sure we can all keep farming for another year together.
