Arts & Crafts Exporters

You can find us down on Bhatti Street. It is a pretty narrow place, and it gets very crowded with all the trucks and handcarts moving around during the day. We have been exporting arts and crafts from this location for quite a while now. Most of our time is spent packing up boxes and checking our lists to make sure everything is exactly where it should be. The street outside is always loud, and there is always some kind of commotion going on right outside our front door. We handle all kinds of items, mostly things made by the local people around here. Some of it is made of wood, and some of it is metal work. It really depends on what materials are available and what people are asking for during the season. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning that works all the time. It is just a practical space for us to store the goods and get them ready for the shipping containers. My cousin works here with me, and we have a couple of other guys who help out with all the heavy lifting. It is hard work, especially when the weather gets really hot in the middle of the summer. We just try to make sure the items are packed well enough so they do not break on the long journey across the sea. Most of our day is just paperwork and making sure the labels match the boxes.
