Over in Naginimora, things can get pretty interesting being so close to the border. Konyak Agritech Private Limited is our name, and you can find us at the Prakash Mill area in Wakching, Mon. Honlei Konyak is the one who keeps things moving around here. The mill is a bit of a landmark, so we are easy to spot. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready operation. We aren't sitting in air-conditioned offices; we are usually out where the dirt is. The work involves a lot of coordination with the local Konyak farmers who have been on this land for generations. We are trying to bring a bit of tech into the mix, hence the name, but at the end of the day, it’s still about the crops and the hard work. The weather here can be unpredictable, and the Naginimora area has its own set of challenges with logistics. We don't talk in fancy business terms. We just say what needs to be said and get on with the day. Most of our time is spent making sure the machinery at the mill is running or that the farmers have what they need for the next planting. It’s a small, tight-knit group of us. We are proud of where we are from and just want to see our little corner of Mon do well. It’s practical, everyday work for us, and we take it as it comes.
