If you are driving down Landran Road in Kharar, you will find us near the HDFC Bank. Vinod Pipe & Hardware Store is one of those places where you can find a bit of everything if you look hard enough. We have got pipes stacked up and boxes of hardware filling the shelves to the ceiling. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of stuff on hand. People from all over Mohali stop by when they are working on their houses. You will see contractors coming in early for a handful of bolts or a specific plumbing joint. The road outside is always busy with people heading into the city, so there is a lot of noise. We do not have a big fancy storefront. It is just a regular shop where we do our best to keep things in order. Sometimes it is a struggle to find a specific screw in all the bins, but we usually know where things are. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about their repairs. It is practical stuff, nothing too complicated. When the weather is nice, we keep the front doors wide open. It gets a bit cold in the winter though. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It is just us working every day, selling pipes and tools to whoever needs them. We keep it simple and just focus on the hardware.
