The Mystic Resort

The Mystic Resort is tucked away on the Old Kalka-Ambala Road in Dhakauli. It’s a bit of a different vibe compared to the busy centers of Chandigarh, even though we serve that area as well. Being in Zirakpur gives us a bit more space to breathe. The property is where we spend all our time, making sure the grounds look okay and the rooms are ready for whoever is coming to stay or host an event. Dhakauli has its own pace of life, and we’ve grown to appreciate it. The road out here can be a bit bumpy, and sometimes the GPS leads people the long way around, but once they arrive, it’s usually fine. We do a lot of the maintenance ourselves because there’s always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a leaky tap or a patch of grass that won't grow. We aren't a massive hotel chain with thousands of rules; we’re just local people running a resort. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights, especially when there’s a big group checking in. We try to keep things simple and honest. The air feels a bit different out here than it does in the city. We’ve been part of this community for a while now and we know the local vendors and neighbors well. It’s just a practical, local business where we work hard to keep the place running as best as we can every single day.
