Maestro Web Technologies

Our place, Maestro Web Technologies, is located within the IT Park in Sector 67. It’s a modern area, so the buildings look a bit more polished than other parts of town, but inside our office, it’s just the usual mess of computers and cables. We spend most of our time sitting in front of screens, and the room is usually pretty quiet except for the sound of typing and the occasional conversation about a project. The IT Park has a lot of people coming and going, so the elevators are always busy around lunchtime. We have a small pantry where we keep the coffee machine, which gets used a lot throughout the day. The view from the windows is mostly just other office buildings and the parking lot. We don’t have any big mission statements on the walls or anything like that; we just have our desks and our chairs. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to get through, and the building gets really quiet then. It’s a different kind of work than being in a factory, but it has its own stresses. We like being in Sector 67 because everything we need is close by, even if the traffic getting in and out of the park can be a nightmare at five o’clock. It’s just a group of us doing technical work in a standard office space.
