Santosh Hospital

You can find Santosh Hospital at Scf-101-ABalaji Enclave. It is right in the Balaji Enclave area, which is a fairly busy residential and commercial mix. The building is a standard shop-cum-flat style, which is common around here. We have transformed the space into a hospital setup with several beds and a small reception desk. It’s not a very big place, so we have to use every bit of space we have. The stairs are a bit steep and the lobby is usually full of people’s shoes since it’s a local habit. We spend our days checking on patients and making sure the supplies are stocked up. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping track of everything without big computer systems. The walls have some old posters about health, and the windows look out onto the street. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long—kids playing, cars honking, and the local vendors. It feels like a part of the community rather than a separate institution. We don't have any PR people writing things for us; we just do our work and go home at the end of the shift. The lighting is a bit yellow and the fans hum constantly during the summer months. It is an honest, local spot for anyone in the Enclave who needs medical attention without traveling too far from their front door.
