S S Hospital

Our place is at House number 17, right behind the UCO bank. It’s tucked away a little bit from the main road, so you really have to look for the turn to find us. Being behind the bank makes it a bit quieter than being right out in the traffic, which is actually quite nice for the patients who are staying here. We’ve been running this hospital out of this particular building for a long time now. It’s basically a large house that we converted into a medical space over the years. We have a few rooms set up for examinations and a small area for people to sit while they wait. It feels a bit more like a home than a big, cold hospital building might. People from the nearby houses come here whenever they aren't feeling well or need a quick checkup. We see a lot of the same families coming back over the years. It’s not a big corporate operation at all, just a few of us doing our daily work. Sometimes the waiting area gets completely full and people have to stand out on the porch for a bit. We try to get through all the appointments as fast as we can without making anyone feel like they're being rushed out the door. Most days are pretty much the same, dealing with coughs, small scrapes, or checking someone's blood pressure. We just want to make sure everyone gets seen. It’s a simple setup but it works.
