Expert Computers

Expert Computers is located at Sco 1005 in Sector 22B. We are right opposite the bus stand, which means there’s a constant stream of people walking past our windows. It’s a very busy part of town, and the noise of the buses pulling in and out is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Inside, the shop is usually filled with the sound of cooling fans and the tapping of keyboards. We have stacks of old monitors and spare parts in the back room that we really should organize better one of these days. People bring in their laptops with all sorts of problems, from cracked screens to things that just won't turn on. We spend our days staring at circuits and screens, trying to figure out what went wrong. The floor is covered in cables sometimes, so we have to be careful where we walk. We don’t really do much in the way of decorating; the walls are mostly just covered with posters of motherboards and software boxes. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes when we have a lot of repairs going on at once. We usually have a half-eaten sandwich or a cold cup of tea sitting near the workbench while we finish a job. Being in Sector 22B is convenient for the customers, even if the parking is a nightmare for us. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever machine is on the bench that hour.
