Our office is located over in Phase - 8. It’s a part of town that’s always got something going on. We share the building with a few other businesses, so there is always someone coming or going in the hallways. Inside our space, it’s mostly just rows of storage and a couple of desks shoved into the corners. We start the day by opening up the shutters and letting some air in. The routine is pretty much the same every day. We check what came in, we sort out what needs to go out, and we answer the phone when it rings. It can get a bit hectic around noon when the deliveries start arriving. We don't have a lot of extra space, so we have to be smart about how we stack the cartons. Sometimes we lose a pen or a stapler under a pile of papers, but we eventually find it. The staff here is small, just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep each other moving when the afternoon slump hits. Phase - 8 can be a bit of a trek for some, but it works well for us. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just run the business from this little spot and do our best to stay organized. It isn't always perfect, but the work gets finished.
