Our place, Claas India Pvt. Ltd., is right off the Marinda Bye Pass on Nh 95. If you’re driving that way, you can’t really miss the big machines parked outside. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming and going all the time. We handle a lot of heavy equipment, mostly for the fields around here and further out. The yard gets pretty dusty when the wind picks up, and there’s always the sound of engines being tested or parts being moved around. It isn’t a quiet office job. We spend most of our time on our feet, talking to drivers or mechanics who need something fixed right away because their harvest can’t wait. The sun hits the pavement hard in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early if we can. We’ve been at this location on the highway for a while now because it’s easy for the big rigs to pull in. There’s no polished lobby or people in suits walking around. It’s just folks in work boots trying to keep the machines running. Some days are long, especially when the season is busy and everyone needs their gear at the same time. We just do what we can, one machine at a time, and try to keep things moving along the bypass. It’s honest work, even if it gets a bit chaotic during the peak months.
